Welcome to Elderfield Tasks: All Quests, Steps and Rewards
Task rewards are what actually unlock systems — the first farming task hands over a Grinder and access to the recipe shop, and later ones open shops, tools and areas. If a task looks impossible, check whether its reward chain expects a tool upgrade you have not forged yet on the crafting page.

Detailed solutions
The Skull Chalice
Expand to show solution The Mall Mines are found in the food court. You will need to buy a Basic Pickaxe from the Mall Rat, found just inside the mines. Most of the ores needed to craft the Skull Chalice cannot be found in the Beginner Mines near the Workshop.
Helping Molly
Expand to show solution Head to the mine near Molly’s home or shop. Look for rocks with orange bumps—those are copper! Click and hold to mine one. Once you’ve got a piece of copper, return to Molly and talk to her to hand it over.
The Elder Gem
Expand to show solution The Elder Gem is found in the mine in the Mall Food Court. Talk to Mall Rat, who will open the Sealed Passage. Find the lost miner in the Sealed Passage. He will give you a Peculiar Offering as a reward for clearing the path. Take this offering to the statue surrounded by glowing green rocks in the Sealed Passage. Place the offering on the Altar, which summons a Gem Golem. Defeating the golem will drop the Elder Gem. Return the gem to Molly for your reward.

A Snack for a Cat
Expand to show solution The Lakefront is accessed via the Sewer entrance in the park. Speak to Herb at the Lakefront to learn about Fishing. The recipe for Fog Broth will be unlocked by completing his Tasks.
Casting your Line

An Eldritch Prank
Expand to show solution The slime is bought from the "Snacks" vendor in the food court of the Mall. The wine bottles are on the coffee table in Pumpkid's house. After pouring the slime into the wine, leave the house and return to complete the task. Then, tell Pumpkid.
Build-A-Wife

Artwork for Abigail
Expand to show solution The artwork is obtained from Ellie. She will require a Mana Muffin, which can be found or cooked. The recipe for the Mana Muffin is eventually obtained by completing Hans's Tasks.
Tentacle Cleanup
Expand to show solution The tentacles will clear after defeating the Mall Administrator, found in the Mall back hallways (through a door in the food court). It can be summoned by completing the Fishing in the Mall..? task, given by an office worker in the back hallways.
The Gatekeeper
