How the date was confirmed

The launch date came in three steps on the game's Steam announcements: a "Release Date Reveal" on August 5, 2026, a release date trailer on August 12, and a Steam Deck Verified announcement on August 28. A launch giveaway was announced on August 27 and the developer ran a pre-launch Q&A between August 24 and 31.

Does the game end?

No. Asked directly whether the full game is an endless sim, the developer answered that the game never ends: there is a main task line that culminates in a final boss fight, and after that farming, exploring, townsfolk interactions and side content continue — with more content planned after launch. That is the clearest statement available about the shape of the full release.

Console and Switch versions

Nothing has been announced. The Steam page lists Windows only, and the forum thread asking for a Switch 2 release has no developer commitment attached to it. The full platform breakdown, including multiplayer and co-op, is on the platforms page.
